Founded in 1985 as the Canadian Student Leadership Conference (CSLC), we have evolved into a national organisation now known as Canadian Student Leadership. We support and foster student leadership across Canada.

Programs for student leaders
Organise a day of leading
The Horizons Leadership Conference is a series of regional conferences hosted and run by students. Students learn how to host and manage an entire event, start to finish.
The purpose of the conference is to motivate and inspire students through keynote presentations given by noteworthy Canadians.
Enhance leadership skills
The Milestone Leadership Certification is a self-directed, four-level online certification program aimed at students who want to enhance their leadership skills. The certification covers topics ranging from planning an event to community outreach and learning more about yourself as a leader.
The curriculum is offered in French and is an excellent resource for schools without leadership classes.

Our flagship event, the Canadian Student Leadership Conference (CSLC) is an annual national student leadership conference held in different locations across Canada each year.
Resources
Our Membership and staff use over 35+ years of student leadership experience, education, and research to curate and share resources within our network. Only CSLA members have access to full archive of materials available on our Google Drive.
Certifications
The Leadership Advisor Certification Program is an online program available to member advisors. This 4-level program gives rookie and experienced advisors a great opportunity to enhance their leadership skills.
