Grand Manan’s SRC’s latest project created a trap tree (approximately 400 lobster traps) that is covered with buoys that members of the school and community decorated. Buoys are painted to represent various classes, teams, community groups, fishing crews as well as memorials for lost loved ones. It was a ton of work to build, but we had a lot of fun doing it! The nighttime pictures were taken at our Trap Tree Lighting ceremony on the Friday evening before school was out.
